Marble is one kind of metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate minerals, calcite or dolomite. It is widely used for sculpture and as building material. Marble is a rock resulting from metamorphism of sedimentary carbonate rocks, (most commonly limestone or dolomite rock ). Metamorphism causes variable recrystallization of the original carbonate mineral grains.

Marble crushing and grinding process

Marble ore go by Vibrating feeder into Jaw crusher for primary crushing first, after primary crushing, the marble ore go into Impact crusher or Cone crusher for fine crushing. The final materials can be screened out the suitable marble particles using for buiding materials through screening machine. The unsuitable marbles return to the crushing process for re-crushing.

If you need the powder of the marble, the smaller marble have to go through grinding process. We can use Ball mill or vertical marble mill as marble grinding mill machine. The finished size cans upto 0.005mm.

Raymond Mill is applicable to the grinding and processing of more than 280 kinds of non-flammable and non-explosive materials with hardness less than 7 and humidity less than 6% in mining, construction, chemical industry and metallurgy, such as barite, calcite, feldspar, talcum, marble, limestone, clay, glass. The fineness of the finished product can be adjusted from 100 mesh to 325 mesh according to requirements.
